Sometimes Laundry Makes Us Cry
This isn’t what my kitchen was supposed to look like tonight. Our new washer arrived, but now we need a plumber and a little project became a much bigger one. As projects tend to do.
On our way out tonight, we drove past the laundromat and Roozle burst into tears. We thought she hurt herself as she was crying too hard to speak. Eventually, with a bit of parent panic, she cried, “We don’t get to go to the laundromat anymore!”
Don’t worry, Roozle, we still get plenty of time at the laundromat. We just won’t get to see our kitchen put back together for a while. If you need me, I’ll be over here crying about that.
