Today was her last day as a four-year-old. Tomorrow, she is five. She’s been looking forward to this moment for a long time. Five is big. Five is awesome.
Four was pretty awesome too, though. She started kindergarten. She is less shy, more brave, and so awesome. Her drawings and ideas amaze me daily. It’s an honor every day to get a front row seat to this little life. Little getting bigger.
Tomorrow is big. Tomorrow is five. I’m ready, but I did ask her to stay up late to let me rub her back for a bit before bed. Sometimes I like to hold on for a few more minutes. She let me. Thankfully.
Goodbye, four. You ruled. Thanks for being so awesome.
