I’ve been working on a meditation audiobook for over a month now. I listen to it in the car on my way to work. I was listening every day, but stopped, then forgot about it a bit. This morning, I started it again. I thought about the recurring soundtrack in my head.

I should read more.
I should write more.
I should meditate daily. And more.

All of these things can be replaced with start.

Taking the should and the more out of my head takes with it the guilt of shouldn’t and the failure of less.

Instead, I will start.

Tomorrow, I will start my day with driving meditation. I will start reading the book I can’t seem to find time for (but am really enjoying) with a 10 minute timer.

I will start.

Not for more. Or should. But to begin again.

Will you join me?
