Summer As A Working Parent

Summer is finally here. After a long winter, a disappointing spring, the sun is shining, and the fans are in the windows. Now that the desperate anticipation has faded, the reality of what summer means is beginning to set in. Our summer schedule stays the same. Our four year old is in preschool full time and my wife and I both work out of the home full time. The only difference with summer is the weekends, mornings, and evenings. All of which are full of all our regular stuff, but with the longing to do something else, something more…
