Yoga With Roozle
After a failed attempt at ballet last summer, and lasting only two practices at soccer last fall before quitting, we’ve been looking for something fun for Roozle to do. She told me that she didn’t like the other classes because she wanted to do something with me. Like yoga.
Good thinking, Roozle. She has Creative Movement class at school once a week and loves it. I emailed my favorite local yoga studio and they told me about a playtime family yoga class that would be perfect.
We ended up being the only ones in the class which was perfect for Roozle’s first time at the studio.
We had our mats next to each other and Roozle snuck over to mine to give me a hug a few times. So perfect. Kids are naturally good at yoga so they start from a place of success. Starting there gave Roozle more confidence and courage to get better at what she knows and try the new poses. It ruled.
We can’t wait to go back.
