I Voted

I voted for my family. For my daughter. For the protection of my same sex family. For the protection of us as women. Because I believe in the government helping families that are hungry. People who are sick. Those forgotten and abandoned. Because the war needs to end. Our troops have to come home. Because I dream of an America in which we get help when we need it. Healthcare. Food. Civil rights. Abortion. Birth control. Education. Civil rights. Gun regulation. That’s why I voted.

Why did you vote?
